Under the SSEIP project, seven public awareness seminars were held from 15th to 28th May 2023 across four districts in Sindh: Tando Mohammad Khan (TMK), Sujawal, Matiari, and Thatta. The seminars emphasized the importance of secondary education, particularly for girls. Participants included teachers, District Education Officers, Assistant Education Officers, RSU representatives, SMC members, and civil society stakeholders. A total of 798 participants attended, with equal gender representation.

The seminars covered themes such as girls' education, addressing student dropout rates, and discouraging early child marriage. Students also presented skits on these topics. IEC materials in Sindhi and Urdu were distributed. The events received media coverage, both in print and electronic formats, creating a powerful impact within the community.

The success of the seminars was attributed to the cooperation of DOs and LSUs. SSEIP aims to upgrade 160 schools to secondary level and implement reforms in ten prioritized districts in Sindh, promoting education and equal opportunities for all.
